On 10 Nov 2016, we held our SIIA Dinner 2016 at the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore. Our guest of honour was Mr. Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Education and Second Minister for Defence. The theme for the evening was “Bright Spots in a Dark World”, looking at the opportunities for Singapore and Asia even amidst turbulent times. During the dinner, Mr. Ong shared his views on the key issues facing Singapore in the context of regional and global developments.

The SIIA Dinner was held in conjunction with our Global Citizens Singapore (GCS) programme. GCS aims to reach out to people in Singapore – it is our hope that our people will also be bright spots in a dark world, aware of global developments and seeking to make a positive difference in society.

More photos from the dinner are available as an album on our Facebook page.
