Protestors in Myanmar continue to press their demands for a return to democracy, despite the increase in violence and bloodshed over the last few days. In a commentary for Mothership, Associate Professor Simon Tay said “International partners can and should foster dialogue and mediate but the fraught and complex situation essentially needs to be resolved domestically”.
