On 24 April 2021, ASEAN leaders held a special summit on the political crisis in Myanmar with the attendance of General Min Aung Hlaing. A five-point consensus was produced, indicating a step forward to resolve Myanmar’s political crisis. The SIIA held its fourth corporate briefing on 6 May 2021, where Associate Professor Simon Tay, Chairman of the SIIA, briefed the Institute’s corporate members on the evolving situation in Myanmar.
