China, Indonesia and the UK are amongst several countries which have expressed interest to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). On 23 March 2022, Associate Professor Simon Tay spoke at the SCMP’s China Conference: Southeast Asia on the opportunities and challenges resulting from the RCEP and CPTPP trade agreements.
