ASEAN countries will focus on treating COVID–19 as an endemic.

“This is a point at which these countries have either explicitly, like Singapore and others, or implicitly recognised the need to move from the pandemic approach of trying to get to zero to an endemic approach,” said Associate Professor Simon Tay, Chairman of the SIIA, in the article by Bangkok Post.
