The COVID-19 pandemic has proven to be the greatest catalyst for digital transformation. What does this mean for youths and how can they prepare themselves for a digital future? These questions were addressed in the “COVID-19 and Digitalisation” webinar hosted by the SIIA, in partnership with the National Youth Council (NYC) yesterday. The webinar was attended by about 800 youths from Temasek Polytechnic who are part of the Asia-Ready Programme (AEP), an initiative that equips youths with knowledge about our region and more importantly how they can tap on the opportunities in the region amidst the uncertain economic landscape.

During the webinar, Mr Ho Suu Wei, Government Relations Director, Southeast Asia, PayPal, spoke about the rise of e-commerce, digital payments, 5G technology as well as how to deal with cybersecurity risks. Read more here.
