SIIA Chairman Mr Simon Tay spoke to CNA on the significance of President Tharman Shanmugaratnam’s State Visit to Tanzania, the first by a Singapore President.

Mr  Tay noted that the visit reflected Singapore’s growing engagement with Africa and highlighted opportunities to deepen economic and trade cooperation in areas such as logistics, digitalization, sustainability, and urban development.
