The risk of severe transboundary haze this year is moderate, according to the latest Haze Outlook report by the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA). The dry season is expected to be milder than last year. However, the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic is having a negative impact on the implementation and enforcement of fire prevention efforts in Indonesia.
