As the political crisis in Myanmar deepens, estimates reveal that the death toll has exceeded 800 and more than 4000 people have been detained. On 3 June 2021, the SIIA held its monthly corporate briefing on Myanmar for the Institute’s Roundtable and Corporate members. Associate Professor Simon Tay, Chairman of the SIIA, provided an update on the domestic situation and international responses, and discussed what we can expect moving forward.
