ASEAN and China upgraded their ties to comprehensive strategic partners at the ASEAN-China special summit. In an interview with Channel NewsAsia (CNA), Associate Professor Simon Tay, Chairman of the SIIA, said, “We are seeing now a real growth in the digital economy and sustainability challenges and China can be a major part of that discussion.”
