The SIIA successfully held the 13th ASEAN and Asia Forum last week. Speaking at the forum, Mr. Desmond Lee, Minister for National Development, Minister-in-charge of Social Services Integration, and Co-Chair of the Emerging Stronger Taskforce said, “If we can manage physical travel safely and become an oasis of hope during troubled times, we can better serve the interests of ASEAN and Asia”. “Even as these physical links are being rebuilt, Singapore should also push ahead with digital connectivity with its neighbours,” Mr. Lee added. https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/politics/reconnecting-with-asean-a-key-focus-for-singapore-as-it-recovers-from-pandemic
