Singapore’s Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) is due to end on Sunday, 13 June 2021. The new restrictions were imposed following a spike in cases due to more infectious variants of the COVID-19 virus. Since the imposition of the heightened alert, unlinked Covid-19 cases fell from 22 per cent to 15 per cent according to Singapore’s Health Minister, Mr. Ong Ye Kung.
