Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin announced a reworked stimulus package on Friday, 27 March 2020. The US$57.7 billion injection (which includes an earlier US$4.8 billion announced under the Pakatan Harapan government) accounts for roughly 17 percent of Malaysia’s GDP, and is the biggest stimulus in the country’s history.
