Youths are becoming more vocal and active in the fight against climate change, offering a beacon of hope for the future. How can ASEAN youths step up to contribute to a more sustainable future?

The SIIA, in partnership with the National Youth Council Singapore (NYC), organised the “Building a Sustainable Future: Vision for a Haze-free ASEAN” webinar for over 70 youths on Saturday, 27 February 2021. Mr. Benjamin Tay, Executive Director, PM Haze and Ms. Stephanie Lim, Sustainability Communications Lead, Musim Mas spoke about sustainability, palm oil, transboundary haze and how youths can contribute to a sustainable future.

The webinar is part of the Asia-Ready Programme (AEP), an initiative that equips youths with knowledge about our region and more importantly how they can tap on the opportunities in the region amidst the uncertain economic landscape. As knowledge partner to the AEP, the SIIA supports the NYC with content and curation of webinar topics for the youths.
